Shin Zushi Klang in Selangor

"This restaurant serves truly exceptional sushi, arguably the finest I've encountered outside of Japan. The quality of the fish is outstanding—remarkably fresh and expertly prepared. While the dining experience often involves a queue (where you'll receive a number for seating), the wait is a small price to pay for such an exceptional meal. Considering the superior quality, the pricing is remarkably accessible. It is, without a doubt, an establishment I look forward to visiting again."

"Good food with affordable pricing. Raw salmon slices are only RM12, and the food was served in about 10 minutes. The shop often has a long queue when I pass by. Would come again if there isn’t a long queue haha"

"A simple-looking place with just a few customers when we arrived. I ordered what I thought would be a "normal" salmon sashimi, and got this piece of art. It tasted as good as it looked. Highly recommended!"

"The food is really delicious and great. The best sushi I have tasted so far (maybe you can get better ones in Japan but this is the best I have tasted so far). You will need to queue up and get your number to get seated, but it’s worth it and the price is soo affordable. I would definitely come back."

"The quality of the food really made it worth the cost, for example the tamagoyaki which is a simple egg omelette roll was a lot creamier,softer and flavourful than your standard conveyer belt sushi place and the atmosphere was very chill with warm lighting and gentle music in the background (bonus if you like Studio Ghibli music). The maki sushi with fried tempura bits was a heavenly mix of crunch and chew. The torched nigiri with different sauces and garnish really blend well together with the fish and the rice wasn't overpowering or dulling the flavour. The Set meals we ordered were quite filling on their own and the Shin Zushi Teishoku which I ordered was a really nice variety of sushi. With all that said there were only 2 minor inconveniences to keep in mind, firstly do expect a long waiting time during peak hours (meal times and weekends) as we arrived at 2:20pm on a sunday and waited about 20mins to be seated but qr codes to order are provided while you wait outside so you can select your food and immediately order once you reach your table. Lastly the restaurant is on the smaller side so the seating might feel a little crowded. Parking for this area can be difficult but parking spots are freed fairly often and the whole area is small enough that parking further means 5-10mins of walking to reach your only destination. Overall I enjoyed my dining experience at Shin Zushi and I hope to visit again."
